Wanderstop NSP turning what might be a simple tea-brewing simulation into a really personal narrative experience. The world responds to your decisions: decorate some of the shop’s pieces with the souvenirs of your journeys, or rearrange the furniture to create the effect of your mood, or allow the shop to fall into a relaxed mess, and embrace the chaos of change. The game’s music is made up of ambient acoustic guitar and piano tracks by composer Daniel “C418” Rosenfeld, which evolve slightly over time and in response to actions during the game.

Further enhancing the immersive experience. The clarity of the game is a bright highlight, particularly on OLED models, with dark green canopy backgrounds that beautifully complement the warm lantern and tea steam glow. Not to mention the art is crisp and readable even when it’s held in the hand, so the magic of the world is never lost on translation. You feel like you are really in Wanderstop’s world, whether it’s the arrangement of the shop or the sunset coloring the clearing with gold.

• Deep Narrative: The game delves into the darker aspects of heroism and the mental battle of forced retirement. Under the surface Alta hates the work in her tea shop, and sometimes longs to be a fighter again.
• Whimsical Tea Brewing: Tea making is interactive and elaborate, with revolving ladders, water boilers, thermometers, and levers to kick for the perfect tea.
• Gardening & Harvesting: Instead of farming, players forage, plant and crossbreed seeds in different patterns to produce the unique hybrid plants and harvest the fruits to use for flavoring.
• No-Stress Chores: Cleaning up, weeding, taking breaks, it is all stress free chores. All customers will wait as long as it may take, with failed drinks as a chance to do it again without punishment.
• Dynamic World & Secrets: The clearing is different in different seasons and chapters. As you are sweeping, you will discover a multitude of trinkets and mysterious lost packages which can be mailed out for jocular replies.
