Description:

Formula One (F1) is the highest class of worldwide racing for open-wheel, single-seater formula racing cars run by Formula One Group and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). The FIA Formula One World Championship has been one of the world’s premier forms of motorsport sinc At Grands Prix, a points scoring system is used to determine two yearly World Championships: one for the drivers and one for the constructors (which are synonymous with teams).

All drivers are required to have a valid Super Licence which is the highest class of racing licence the FIA awards and all races must be run on Grade One (the highest) track rating awarded by the FIA. The Formula One cars are the fastest road course racing cars in the world, partly because of the high cornering speeds they can achieve, with a large amount of aerodynamic down force being created.

• The length :of the race is 305km (260km at the Monaco Grand Prix) and the number of laps is set so it is longer.
• Three Championships: There are two main World Championships for each season: the Drivers’ Championship and the Constructors’ (Team) Championship.
• Weekend Schedule: The weekend consists of three practice sessions, a three-part qualifying session (to set the starting grid), and the main race on Sunday.
• Points System: First 10 finishers will be awarded points from 25 to 1. Bonus point for fastest lap (top 10 only).
• Car Engines: Highly efficient 1.6L V6 turbocharged hybrid engines.
