Description:

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is a triumphant return to the story-driven world of Metroid, with respect and creativity. From the moment players assume the iconic bounty hunter Samus Aran for the first time in the game, they will experience an elaborately crafted universe reminiscent of the iconic first-person explorations of the original Prime trilogy, with added gameplay and a bolder visual makeover.

In terms of gameplay mechanics, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has a delicate balance of introducing new elements to the game while keeping the most important aspects of Metroid Prime, namely, exploration, scanning, puzzle-solving, and upgrade-based growth.

• Psychic Powers: Samus has new psychic powers that can be utilized during combat and puzzle-solving, granted by the ancient Lamorn race.
• Control Beam: Use a Control Beam to direct your shots at multiple targets or use psychic gloves to telekinetically move platforms and power devices.
• Unified SW: The map links through a central area (Sol Valley), which forces players to backtrack and also features large dungeon-like biomes.
• Samus gets: Another traversal vehicle, the Vi-O-La, to quickly zip across the vast deserts of the game.
• The return of class features: such as the Scan Visor, rapid-fire and charge beams, tracking missiles, and the Morph Ball.
