The decaying grandeur of the city of Veritas is showcased through exquisitely detailed visuals that immediately draw the player into its grim reality. Gargoyles gaze from rotting roofs; cobblestone streets are wet with rain and blood; the omnipresent fog is heavy with secrets and despair.

Making the player think about what actions they take, and what good and evil are. Dialogue options are sometimes subtle, as the protagonist’s understanding of the world changes, and they offer a certain amount of character customization by letting players make moral decisions as the game goes on.
