Description:

Axiom Verge is an indie game which you can enjoy for free, created by Thomas Happ and is inspired by Metroid. Developed and published by one person. It can be played on various platforms, such as Nintendo Switch. Your character is a scientist who, after a lab explosion, finds himself in an alien realm. He encounters a very alien species of beings, which manifests itself in a mechanical face that cannot be seen to him, and he agrees to aid them in their battle against an enemy called Athetos, who is threatening their home. That’s the outside plot. More information will be revealed as you proceed with the game.

You’ll journey across the planet, acquire new weapons, level up your powers and kill monsters. Axiom Verge is similar to Metroid, except that it’s even more beautiful, and with the gameplay mechanics and difficulty.

Axiom Verge NSP Key Features:

• Speedrun Mode: This mode is optimized for the speedrunning community, and features an in-game timer, no dialogue or cutscenes.
• Randomizer Mode: Increases replay value by randomizing items depending on the seed you choose.
• Thomas Happ composed and developed all the game’s music, art, level design and its foreboding chiptune soundtrack, which was heavily praised.
