It looks a little dated and it’s made significant strides in terms of “remaster” since 2011 on PlayStation 3 and XBox 360, albeit that Xbox helped it to look pretty good visually. Despite that, it has a pretty high quality standard, either on the TV or on the Switch screen.

This is even more impressive if we take into account the amount of simultaneous numbers. This is because of the mechanics, which were quite innovative for the times, but still are remarkable these days. The vegetation moves almost exactly as the player does, and reacts to the effects of projectiles. There’s also combat, with the fauna that roams the island being used in battle.
