Gundam universe, I’m going to proceed with this post. Otherwise, you should be aware that it is one of the OG mecha IPs — if not the very first — dating back to 1979. It all began with the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. This low-budget TV series gave birth to an incredible amount of games (more than 80), animation, and movies.

Yes, both are about customizable mecha, and the fights are fought on relatively small stages, but they both are. However, unlike Armored Core V, which was dark, gritty, and enjoyed violent confrontation, Gundam Breaker 4 is not quite as serious. At heart, it is a story, a world, and a game of taking virtual models and watching them fire and see how they will act in battle.
