Description:

KILL KNIGHT is an isometric action shooter inspired by the arcade action genre with ultra-responsive gameplay. Fated to suffer for eternity in the darkest corners of an eldritch arena, you have to use an arsenal of terrifying weapons to destroy swarms of otherworldly horrors – and MASTER THE DEMON WITHIN. If you know me, you’ll know that I love to post about roguish experiences here; it’s not just a clever name, after all. What I’ve always wanted to do here is to expand the audience and, in the process, broaden the range of my activity to the point where I can do interesting games of all kinds. Well, that’s what I’m doing here.

Developer PlaySide calls it “an ultra-responsive arcade-inspired isometric action shooter,” and while I tried to boil it down differently, that’s a pinpoint description and better than I could do. KILL KNIGHT NSP Key Features:

• Violent “Push-Forward” Combat: Play is based on aggression and accuracy. The constant pressure to execute, load, and dash to complete tasks and to survive to the end forces you to use your resources.
• The Knight’s Arsenal: Learn a package of deadly weapons, such as dual pistols, heavy weapons, and a sword. Challenges can be completed to unlock new equipment and playstyle.
• Five Eldritch Layers: traverse five handcrafted, different Abyssal worlds, all more perilous than the last.
• Kill Power System: Stay alive long enough in the chaos to increase your Kill Power, a meter that increases your speed and damage.
• For hardcore fans, there is a new Sever Mode that is a lengthy endurance challenge with all five modes combined.
