Kill La Kill IF NSP Regarding fighting games, Arc System Works always seems to be in the ranks of the top dogs. They’re also known for their skill in manipulating 3D polygons behind the façade of the believable 2D anime magic. In the studio’s latest venture, they take a step outside the lateral plains of Guilty Gear, BlazBlue and Dragon Ball FighterZ, to try their hand at competitive 3D arena brawler based around 2014 cult classic KILL lA KILL.

For those that have never seen KILL la KILL before, it’s a story of two rivals laying out any excuse to have a good scrap with one another. The series’ hot-tempered protagonist, Ryuko Matoi uses one half of a pair of giant tailors scissors, and is determined to take revenge for her murdered father. Matoi is assisted through a very telling but potent blood sucking, sentient sailor suit named Senketsu.

Key Features:

• What-If” Story Campaign: A brand new non-canon story, directed by the original story writer, Kazuki Nakashima. The story deviates during the “First Naturals Election” and places gameplayers in the role of Satsuki Kiryuin on her journey to topple her mother.
• Play freely in 3D battlefields: perform basic but powerful combos with close-range, long-range and guard-break attacks.
• Bloody Valor: Mechanics: Take part in hilarious “debate” sequences, with a unique rock-paper-scissors mechanic. You get a lot of stat buffs, or increase in damage from these battles.
• Hot Headed Contest: In times of heated arguments, characters go into a sassy contest of wits and words, Ketsui Testament (Bloody Combats). The winner gets some massive buffs that embody the power progression of the anime.
