Description:

Persona 5 Tactica takes place after the events of the original Persona 5, but before Persona 5 Strikers. The Psychic Thieves will be back in the weeks before Joker departs Tokyo. One day, while there, the building starts to tremble, and the front door morphs into a French Revolution fairy tale land where they join a group of local rebels and go on to topple Queen Maria. This all-new journey takes the Psychic Thieves to multiple kingdoms, collaborating with local revolutionaries and overthrowing their corrupt leaders.

Persona 5 Tactica’s combat is straightforward, and is largely about finding cover on the battlefield. It’s more like Mario + Rabbids or XCOM than Fire Emblem or Devil Survivor. The battle is set on a map that is based on a square grid, and you can take up to 3 characters to play melee, guns and Persona combat.

• The “Triple Threat” System: Like the classic All-Out Attack, any time three party members surround a defeated foe, the “triangle” can unleash a devastating attack on anything within.
• Cover Mechanics: “Move behind cover” and “move behind partial cover” are key phrases to avoid being shot by an enemy.
• Elemental Ailments: No longer is there any elemental disadvantage, elements bring status ailments.
• For instance, Fire will affect enemies over time, and Ice and Electricity will freeze and shock enemies, thereby preventing them from acting.
