Unlike Fallout 4, or The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, which really streamlined and gentrified character creation and questing, the amount of versatility that is offered to the player, both in how you build your character, and how you approach every quest,t is staggering.

In addition, combat is exceedingly rewarding. The gunplay is very tight and enhanced with the “Tactical Time Dilation” mechanic, which is similar to Fallout’s “V.A.T.S.” system—where players can slow-time mid-fight to target specific body parts for bonus damage effects, a shot to the head can cause blindness, and a shot to the arm will reduce enemy accuracy.

The Outer Worlds NSP Key Features:

• Player-Driven Story & Choices: The storyline has a lot of choices, moral and faction-based, which directly impact the outcome of the story and endings.
• Tactical Time Dilation (TTD): Another side effect of the cryogenic sleep allows you to slow time down during combat to line up on a shot, target specific enemy limbs, and study health stats.
• Deep Character Customization: Your protagonist can get specific attributes (Strength, Intelligence, Charm), aptitudes (background professions), and skills from dialogue, too technical, just about anything.
• Unique “Flaw” System: The game may provide you with a flaw to play if you’re failing to accomplish a task or are regularly being harmed by a certain source. If you do accept it, it gives you an additional perk point with a permanent debuff.
• Dynamic Companions: You can pick up to two different characters to accompany you on your journey. They each have their own individual combat skills, personalities, and even personal questlines, and they will react to—or even abandon you over—your moral choices.
