Description:

Tomba! Everybody has that one game that they couldn’t get enough of as a kid. Some might be a Mario, a Zelda game, or perhaps even a Chrono Trigger game. Ironically, for me, that was enough to make me fall in love with its colorful world, catchy music, and wacky characters from the get-go. I’m not going to beat it, but to me Tomba’s world was a place I would return to time and time again, all my li,fe for nothing more than pleasure and for the sake of nostalgia.

I don’t think I’d be playing and creating games today. But now my PS1 (from Video Upd, ate I believe) is on its last legs, and the only thing it can’t loop correctly is the music, let alone getting into the first area. Thankfully, Limited Run Games is now releasing Tomba! for modern platforms with a newly arranged soundtrack, a museum full of documents and sketches from the original Whoopee Camp development process, and even interviews with some of the original staff.

• Rewind Function: Instantly reverse steps when making an error or on a tricky platforming part.
• Display Options: has several screen ratio options (16:9, 4:3, Full Screen), and features an optional CRT Filter (For a retro look).
• Unique Platforming: Perfectly combines Linear and Non-Linear Metroidvania style gameplay.
• Bite and Toss Combat: Jump on enemies and grab them to throw or bite them, or use them as projectiles against other enemies.
