Description:

Worse than Death is a 2d, story-driven horror adventure from cult indie developer Benjamin Rivers. It’s the tale of a young woman named Holly and her best friend Flynn as they attend a high school reunion. She’s dreading the reunion for several reasons, but little does she know the horrors she is about to face.

The gameplay involves exploring the 2d environments, interacting with objects and people, solving puzzles, and stealth. It’s not a particularly original gam,e but it is a unique combination of genres for a survival horror gam e. The puzzles are well designed and not too hard; I did get a little frustrated with a particular puzzle one time at the thought that I could not see how the solution could be applied to the problem.
