Bandai Namco was at New York Comic Con last weekend with one of their latest games which will be coming out early next year, Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash, and the reason is because we are about to get a switch version of the game to download and enjoy absolutely free of cost on our Switch consoles. We were given the opportunity to play a gameplay test and although I’m hoping for much (JUJUTSU KAISEN is my all-time favorite manga/anime), I was pleasantly surprised at just how awesome this game is going to be.

As far as gameplay goes, I’m addicted to 3rd-person story games. The Last of Us is pretty much the home controller for me so I don’t have a ton of battle game experience outside of Mario Kart. But when I let Satoru Gojo put his differences aside and wave at me, I’m here to listen, so I’ll set aside my differences and fight in a 2v2 style of Cursed Technique showdown.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash Key Features:

• 2 on 2 Battles: Always play in pairs. It is a success of working together with your partner to trap or double team opponents.
• The Energy System: Most normal attacks will increase your “Cursed Energy”, but won’t reduce enemy health.
• Powering Up: During the fight, your energy level increases. This unlocks your character’s strongest abilities, such as Domain Expansions, ultimate attacks, and more, automatically.
• Easy Controls: Pick up and play with some simple input options and some powerful anime style moves. Many story missions can even be completed with simple attack strings.
• Famous Roster: There are more than 15 characters to choose from, including Yuji, Gojo and Sukuna, who each have their powers from the first season and JJK 0 movie.
