Description:

Pocket Bravery is a 2D pixel art fighting game, which is currently being developed by the indie game dev company Statera Studio from Brazil. The game had a bumpy, unsuccessful Indiegogo campaign but didn’t turn around and leave, but rather doubled down and decided on going for it, against the odds! The game uses a graphic style which is considered as a compromise between the graphic style of the Neo Geo Pocket and high resolution sprites, allowing the characters to have a kind of “chibi” appearance.

The basic system uses just 4 dedicated buttons for Light Punch, Heavy Punch, Light Kick and Heavy Kick. Some of the command normals and/or target combos are available to each character and some of the buttons even have a “close” (also known as proximity normal) version with differing properties. Special moves are done by combining a normal move (fireball, dragon punch, half circle, 360) with a button.

Pocket Bravery Key Features:

• Combat System: Has a 4-button system that includes elemental weapons that must be strengthened.
• Accessibility: An “Accessible Mode” like Street Fighter 6 is included for new players to help them make combos.
  The game has 12 different characters and 20 stages.Modes: Story Mode, Arcade Mode and the “Combo Factory” training mode.
• Online Play: Utilizes Rollback Netcode for online multiplayer.
