UNDER NIGHT IN BIRTH II Key Features:

• A unique central tug-of-war mechanic called the Grid System (GRD). Players pick up squares when they play aggressively or by blocking properly, lose squares when they get hit or play too defensively.
• Vorpal State: When a player has the most grid points in his possession, he will enter this state every 16.5 seconds, and will earn a 10% damage boost and the ability to use chain shift.
• Chain Shift: A critical mechanic (only in Vorpal state) that is similar to a “Roman Cancel. Can be used for offensive extensions or as a defense to create breathing room.
• Four-Button Control System: A, B, C, and D buttons (Light, Medium, Heavy, and Function/Utility) are used, resulting in great simplicity and enormous potential for combos.
• Easy to play with the Smart Steer (Autocombo) which lets players perform simple combos with a single light attack button press.
  It’s known for the extensive Tutorials & Story, and the “Chronicle” mode, which is a detailed, visual-novel style story mode for the characters.
