Description:

Atomic Owl follows a standard roguelike formula of making as much progress as possible, dying, getting some upgrades, and then progressing further on your next run. That’s facilitated by Hidalgo’s ability to gain level during movements (runs), which he gets through collecting green Meza. The higher a Hidaglo gets, the better he gets, so every run is that much easier. In addition to green Meza, there’s a blue variant as well, collected from defeated enemies, and used to unlock or improve abilities, such as gaining permanent extra lives or increasing the range to absorb Mesa.

Atomic Owl is a pixel art single player, side-scrolling roguelite combining fast-paced platforming with dynamic hack and slash combat and weapons, powerups and a demonic blade. Journey through 8 roguelite zones, save your friends and take up arms against Omega Wing!
