Taito Milestones 3 is an ININ Games’ take on the classic Taito Arcade game, and it does a fine job of doing this. While it’s nothing more than a collection of Arcade Archives games, it’s still nice to have more bang for your buck all in one place. I wish there were more history added to each game, just a little more “beef” and context to the games, but that kind of Atari 50 level effort is not worth that kind of price. It remains a very good compilation.

Taito Milestones 3 is a collection of 10 Arcade Archives games, just as its 2 predecessors, and is a pretty sweet deal, particularly since these can be extremely expensive to buy separately. Although this is a great value for arcade game enthusiasts, you still merely get a plain menu and virtually no bonus content,t so this collection is only for the games themselves. Fortunately, each of these has lots of options you can tweak to your liking and, of course, even fully customize the controls for each game.

• Adjustable Settings: Players can adjust button layout, number of lives, and difficulty in the arcade “dip switch” settings.

• “Tate” (Vertical) Mode: Allows the screen to be rotated to play arcade and shooters that were originally designed to be played vertically on a CRT monitor.
