Formula Legends NSP  Legends takes you through the history of F1, through a lightly distorted lens. Since the 1960s the central Story Mode includes several races in each era, which give a sample of the various cars, improvements in their technology over time, and modifications to the layout of each track over the years. TheyFormula Legends aren’t required to use the officially named locations but the layout of the different tracks over the decades as well as the alternate layouts are close enough to the real-world locations to identify the sweeping curves at Spa-Francorchamps and the iconic Monza setting.

They are certainly ‘inspired by’ though, so if you think you know the Melbourne Park circuit like the back of the hand, you may have to get ready to look askance at the skin on Melbourne Park. In some situations the tracks are also mirrored, most likely to keep some of the licence holders from looking too angrily, so you get a taste of the sport, instead of a full course. It’s not as easy as unlocking content in a Mario Kart game. For at least two or three eras, Formula Legends will offer two or three drivers to play.

• Enjoy a complete Story mode: Time Attack with global leaderboards and online multiplayer to compete against others.
