Description:

Gecko Gods NSP is a puzzle-adventure, but it’s one that combines slick platforming with intuitive puzzle solving of the environments in a seamless, effortless, and natural way. The central feature of the game is the ability of your gecko protagonist to wall-crawl, ceiling-cling and crawl precisely, making every surface a potential way to proceed. It’s not a trick of the game, it’s part of the design philosophy; exploration is free and natural.

From the analog stick to maneuver around a precariously placed rock face to tilting the Joy-Con to look around corners in the gyro mode, the controls are all finely tuned to respond with immediacy and precision. Adding touch screen interaction adds to the immersion, particularly when using the Switch in handheld mode, so you can check the stock or get a hint into a puzzle without interrupting the game. The game also takes advantage of the Switch’s suspend-resume feature, which allows you to pause exploration at any point to take a break and resume from the same location in the game.
