Description:

Chants of Sennaar is a narrative puzzle game in which you play the role of the Traveler and climb up a tower, all based on the legend of Babel, but with a twist: the game’s language is based on observation and logic. Every level has its own group of people, with their own set of symbols and grammatical conventions, and you might find yourself in a situation where you need to understand what the symbols mean to them so that you can communicate with them; eventually, you may also have the opportunity to bring back to harmony two cultures that have never been able to meet for generations.

The game has been designed to help there always being regular clues available so that solutions appear to be earned by using logic, not trial and error. Each word learned can help you comprehend/understand the next series of words you learn.

Chants of Sennaar NSP Key Features:

• Glyph Translation: Study the environment, listen to conversations, and study murals to translate unknown, forgotten languages.
• The Traveler’s Notebook:Your trusty journal is the main instrument you’ll need to record your Traveler’s Notebook. You make some drawings and record your best guesses about their meanings.
• Contextual Confirmation: As you pick up sufficient clues or complete small pictographs, your best guesses are verified and that symbol can be used throughout the game as a piece of readable text.
• Grammar & Syntax: Each language is unique. To advance, you must be familiar with the various sentence constructions, verbs, and plurals of different cultures.
• The Myth of Babel:Visit a huge, maze-like tower where the people have been separated and can no longer communicate.
