Being a graphical remaster, players can expect the story of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered to be precisely the same as the originals. While I didn’t exactly play a lot of the original games myself, as far as I can tell, things are pretty much the same. If you’ve never played in the series, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 is the story of a lieutenant in the vampiric court of Kain, emperor of Nosgoth, Raziel.

After all these centuries, reborn by an Elder god, Raziel was given a mission to avenge Kain and to restore the balance of life and death, as the Soul Reaver is not what it used to be. All the elements are tidied and honed. The settings are crisp and very detailed. All the character models are clearly visible. Those who have played only the original versions will find out more than they ever imagined.
