The game has been developed by the creative indie studio of Sometimes You and is a charming mix of puzzles and adventure, the first game that is created exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The combination of horror and humour is unique to this game, and the point-and-click gameplay is embedded in the terrifying, but hilarious, environment. Built from scratch to suit the hybrid nature of the Switch, NubiaPhobia takes advantage of the console’s portability and control scheme versatility to engulf players in a world where all of the interactions feel intuitive, regardless of whether they’re playing in space or handheld.

A world where things make no sense, logic and absurdity abound, NubiaPhobia immerses players in a surreal and dreamlike environment brimming with strange characters, puzzles, and a sense of darkness and humour. The game is set in a maze-like terrain, in which each corner contains a riddle or a punch line intended to keep the player entertained, both on screen and in their hands.
