Descripyion:

TETRIS 99 If you’d have asked us, just a few days ago, for a thorough list of video game series that we could think of going through a ‘Battle Royale’ setting, Tetris would have been at the bottom of the list. There are a lot of things that could be a good idea in Splatoon – maybe even an ultra-cruel Pikmin showdown, heck, we’d put Nintendogs higher on that list than this puzzling classic – but we’re in 2019, and we’re getting a Battle Royale Tetris game.

If you find yourself in a position of being attacked by a group of players at once, then there’s probably not much you can really do to win anyway, but if you can, these are the four options that are at your disposal. All the names refer to the kind of other player that you will be attacking: Random will attack players randomly, Attackers will attack all the players that are attacking you, KOs will attack players that are about to be knocked out, and Badges will cause you to attack the players that also have badges and knock them out of the game so that you can steal them from them (these badges give you the ability to deal more damage).

TETRIS 99 NSP Key Features:

  • The basic mode: 99 vs. 98 real-time battle. In the match, the game speed increases until there’s just one “Tetris Maximus” left.
  • You select your offensive focus with the use of the analog stick. Attack players attacking you, players who are about to lose, players holding K.O. Badges, or just attack them randomly.
  • Badges: If someone is eliminated, they will give you their badge pieces. You can earn badges, which will boost your attack power so that you can send more garbage lines per line clear.
  • When you clear 2 or more lines at the same time or perform more complicated attacks (such as T-spins and Combos), you will be shooting “garbage” blocks at your targeted opponents to destroy their boards.
  • A high-level mode for players who have already won a first-place “Tetris Maximus” game (master level) and have highly competitive games at a much faster pace.

Installation Instructions

There is no difference between NSP and XCI formats — both run exactly the same on any Nintendo Switch emulator. Your downloaded TETRIS 99 file is in NSP format.
To play on an emulator, open your emulator, go to File → Load File (or drag and drop), and select the downloaded NSP file.
Ensure your emulator has at least Firmware 14.0.0 installed before launching TETRIS 99.
On a hacked Nintendo Switch, install the file using Tinfoil (highly recommended) or DBI Installer.
The direct download link may occasionally be slow or unavailable due to high traffic. If it fails, please wait a moment and try again.
