Description:

Fast RMX (styled as FAST rmx) is a 2017 racing video game developed and released by Shin’en Multimedia on the Nintendo Switch. It’s the third in the Fast series. It has been launched on the Nintendo eShop on the 3 March 2017 as a launch title for the console. Fast RMX includes all the courses and downloadable content from the original game, Fast Racing Neo, in addition to 6 new courses for a total of 30 courses, but with shorter Grand Prix than the original.[1] An additional free update was released on 13 September 2017, which added 6 extra courses, for a total of 36. The game received a limited edition physical release on 13 October 2022, via Super Rare Games.

The most key mechanism of the game is called Phase Switching. The car color (Blue or Orange) must be alternated with the colored boost pad and energy orbs on the track. The matching color will give you a huge speed increase, the other one will slow you down.

FAST RMX Key Features:

  • Energy Management: You’ll fill your energy orbs by picking up energy pieces around the courses, rather than weapons.
  • Hero Mode: A difficulty setting that causes a double use of the boost bar as health bar. Take too much damage, and your race is over.
  • Championship Mode: Complete 10 different cups over 30 tracks—from futuristic cities to snowy alpine peaks to even desolate canyons.
  • Time Attack: Master racing lines and make the fastest laps on your favourite courses.

Installation Instructions

There is no difference between NSP and XCI formats — both run exactly the same on any Nintendo Switch emulator. Your downloaded FAST RMX file is in NSP format.
To play on an emulator, open your emulator, go to File → Load File (or drag and drop), and select the downloaded NSP file.
Ensure your emulator has at least Firmware 11.0.1 installed before launching FAST RMX.
On a hacked Nintendo Switch, install the file using Tinfoil (highly recommended) or DBI Installer.
The direct download link may occasionally be slow or unavailable due to high traffic. If it fails, please wait a moment and try again.
