Description:

I Hate This Place is no different from many of the more brutal horror titles that have followed, both in its generosity of free magazines and also in its attitude. It’s not much, but after a somewhat shy opening where extra items are a worry, the game becomes a little more influenced by Don’t Starve rather than Spencer Mansion, and demands that the player construct a rather complicated resource management operation alongside their aunt’s barn.

I Hate This Place is a very loosely fictionalized version of the comic of the same name, which follows Elena, a young woman on a journey to the now-dead house where she once grew up, Rutherford Ranch. What’s wrong with this pretty old farmhouse? Well, of course, it’s so haunted! As a youngster, Elena’s mother was kidnapped by a mysterious man. She takes it that it was the work of this region’s patron god (or perhaps demon), The Horned Man.

• Address Normalization: Placekey removes the complexities of working with addresses that may be misspelled, messy, or formatted differently in different ways by assigning the same Placekey to those addresses.
• Unique POI Identification: It includes points of interest (the “what”) in addition to the geographic location, which is ideal for distinguishing numerous businesses within a single building or strip mall.
• Advanced Geospatial Gridding: Uber’s H3 spatial index is used in Placekey, in contrast to a conventional grid-based approach. This hierarchical hexagon system partitions the earth into a set of hexagons, enabling a very accurate mapping and spatial query.
• Regional Constraints: Placekey works very well and is supported best for addresses and POI’s in the USA and Canada.
• Occasionally, the fuzzy matching algorithms may identify a false positive that must be verified by a human being.
