Sand Land . When attempting to convey the essence of a comic, a show, or a film, and still include many of the requirements expected from a video game, there’s a chance that some of it will get lost in translation. A good example is the open-world adaptation of the titular manga by the late, great Akira Toriyama, Sand Land.

He’s always adorably charming and manages to put together an insane cast of characters, such as the disgraced war veteran Rao and genius mechanic Ann, and their mysterious pasts reveal themselves on the ride. During the games’ 20-plus hours of gameplay, we enjoyed a lot of fun with the quirky and humorous characters, just like Goku and Co.

Sand Land NSP Key Features:

• Vehicle-Based Gameplay & Combat: The game does have a heavy emphasis on a vast vehicle system. Create, fly, and summon up to five different vehicles at will from a variety of weapons, from Battle Tanks to Motorbikes and Jump-bots.
• All vehicles are fully upgradeable: They can be customized with paints and decals, and have their engines, suspensions, and weapons changed.
• Playable Characters: Every companion has their own abilities. Beelzebub has demonic combat skills, Thief has stealth and scavenging skills,s and Sheriff Rao provides combat support.
• You’ll encounter a desert: harsh and dry in Sand Land, and then an entirely new, lush world in ForesLandan, which is the antithesis of Sand Land.
• Base Building: The Town of Spino can be developed and upgraded. Rescued citizens begin to come in as you advance, creating a flourishing settlement.
