The Mario Tennis game is adding a new dimension of skill and competition to the Nintendo Switch system. In classy tennis, Mario runs onto the court for high-stakes tennis matches against various characters in full-fledged tennis battles. The new wrinkles in tennis play will test your ability to read your opponent’s position and shot to see which one you have the best chance of getting the ball into. It has been met with generally favorable reviews by critics, who praised its innovations in gameplay and audiovisual presentation, had mixed reviews about its story mode and Swing mode, and criticized for not offering any additional modes at launch.

Mario Tennis Aces NSP Key Features:

• Zone Shots & Special Shots: Develop the power and accuracy needed to power through these shots. When your opponent doesn’t block them exactly, his/her racket gets damaged.
• Racket Damage & KOs: If you destroy all of your opponent’s rackets or cause him to surrender, you immediately get a “Technical Knockout” (KO).
• High Zone Speed: Use energy to slow time down and reach high balls, keep the rally alive.
• Trick Shots: Ensure that the ball has been placed at the right time and position, as well as using a combination of skill and acrobics to reach the ball and fill the energy gauge, if not, then you are vulnerable.
• A single-player mode with missions and obstacles leading through stories where you learn the game mechanics, and face huge boss battles.
• Tournament Mode: Play against the computer in an elimination tournament of eight players.
