Quick golf is a web-based service that matches golfers who are looking to play some golf, but do not have the time or desire to play a full round with other golfers at a local golf course that offers golf by the hole rather than golf by the round. A golfer who then decides he has time for a few holes or more opens the application which displays available times for Quick.golf at the courses in the vicinity of him. “We felt it was a great idea and a way to fill the capacity that golf courses don’t have,” said Harvey Silverman, founder of the company and a golf marketing consultant in the San Francisco Bay area. Almost all the nation’s courses are underutilized.

• Quick golf plays Miniaturized Course Loops, which are shorter rounds with 3 holes, 6 holes or executive courses.

• Shorter Rounds: Rounds can be finished within a few minutes, usually shorter and each session is 45 minutes. It removes the need for a 4 or 5-hour commitment of a typical round
