Description:

The Winning Post series is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2023, and is an “authentic horse racing simulation game” in which the player becomes an owner-breeder (horse owner and producer) and plays through all the drama of horses and people in the world of horse racing. Winning Post is a series of video games simulating the world of thoroughbred horse racing, created and released by Koei (now Koei Tecmo). The series differs from Koei’s other horse-racing series G1 Jockey and Tecmo’s Gallop Racer series. To date, the only version of the game to be released outside of Japan was the Saturn port of Winning Post EX, released in North America as Winning Post.[1] All of the other games have only been released in Japan.

Winning Post 10 2024 Key Features:

• Idol Horse System: Production of popular horses that create racing booms, which also influences the course strategy and is managed by an “Idol Horse Map,” which records the course expectations of racing fans.
• Horse Racing Historia: A new function for which players can experience important periods of Japanese racing history in special events.
• Completely updated for 2024, this racebook contains the most up-to-date information about the horses, including Durezza, who is the Kikuka Sho winner, and the new dirt Triple Crown route.
• Better Edit Control: Added “[Uma-sonality]” (horse personality traits) edit control, allowing for more customization in breeding and training.
• New Secretary and Features: Introduction of new secretary Fita and the return of popular gal secretary Mea Furitani with a new look.
