Description:

Hob: The Definitive Edition is primarily focused on puzzle-solving–maybe consisting of 80% puzzle-solving and exploration with only 20% combat. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing since the combat is not what the game is known for. Players can roll dodge, get a better mechanical arm and also wield a sword as well, which can be upgraded. By clicking the right analog stick, you can also target enemies. This was handy when there were several enemies on-screen but those instances are few and far-between.

• Wordless Narrative: The story is entirely conveyed without any text or dialogue, to let the player discover the lore of a ruined and corrupted world, a mechanized world.
• Transforming World: The entire environment physically changes as you go. As you solve puzzles and activate switches, the landscape changes, creating new ways to move and reaching new areas.
• Upgradeable Mechanical Arm: Your protagonist gets a robotic arm after an accident early in the game. This arm is a versatile used to grab onto, punch through, and drag across the map.
• Fluid Combat & Abilities: Defend yourself from hostile animals with a sword and your robot gauntlet! As you explore you are also gathering emblems, which can be used at a central forge to upgrade your skills, unlock new combos, and make new weapons.
