I’m thinking Hollow Knight, you’re thinking Hollow Knight. The Rage of Morkull Ragast Rage is quite similar to Hollow Knight. It’s style, tone, setting and much more. Hollow Knight is an excellent Metroidvania, it’s one of then best on the market. So in that sense it’s kind of fitting to pay tribute to it. Whereas Morkull Ragast is not a well-balanced game, Hollow Knight is beautifully crafted and well-balanced. I really like the concept and story of this one. You play as the titular Morkull, the god of death and he knows that he is in a video game and he wants out. It is self-referential and fourth wall breaking humour, in other words, I am a big fan of it. That’s a thing that Morkull Ragast’s Rage can do quite well.

Morkull Ragast’s Rage NSP Key Features:

• Hand-Drawn Frame-by-Frame Animation: All of the game is entirely hand-drawn, even the Morkull, enemies and backgrounds; it looks like a classic animated movie.
• Morkull is a likeable, self-aware character who is aware that he is playing a role in a video game. He’s constantly bantering, breaking the fourth wall, and generally chatting right to you whilst infusing the story with dark humor and bad jokes and pop culture references.
• Deep Combat System: The God of Death has many different abilities and attacks. Heavy combos, punching, clawing, and using a Stone/Bone Shield to withstand incoming attacks and to conquer the deepest corners of the Ragast.
• Explorative Platforming: In addition to combat, the game is also a heavy exploration game, much like a Metroidvania. Navigate stunningly designed worlds, discover secrets, and locate hidden upgrades and potions across the land.
