There is no time wasted in this new volume setting the missing persons, the cryptic puzzles, and the tone of dread that vibrates through the environment. The writing was a bit more atmospheric than usual, combining the eerie banality of contemporary Japan with supernatural folklore, which was a nice, delicious mix for me. The narrative technique skilfully alternates in point of view between different characters. Best Switch Games.
