Not long after,d everything goes wrong, and you end up running Winter’s Edge and are tasked to restore it to its past glory. You’ll embark on quests from your throne room to explore the land and hire workers for your settlement. All potential recruits that you meet will be in some situation, usually a dangerous one, and it is up to you to solve before they join your settlement.

Different sets can be constructed and different equipment set up on-the-fly for different scenarios, too. Some enemies may attack using poisonous attacks, or they could utilize fire and ice for attack, but each armour set has its resistance towards these elements. Also, you can make enhanced swords, spears, axes, crossbows and more to make your perfect arsenal. You can also upgrade your settlement, which gives you access to better gear at the blacksmiths, or better food from the kitchen to give you additional buffs. This not only improves Arlo as you venture closer to the Dark Wings, but also offers a sense of community with your people and makes the stakes feel higher.
