For a game this big and action-packed, we’re not surprised. This is a big old action-packed game after all, but we were a little nervous when we heard about all the technical problems in the run-up to our review period. Fortunately, we didn’t have to worry at all, as Rebellion is continuing its run on the strength of another solid port offering a huge bloody feast of Nazi zombie-slaying action.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War NSP Key Features:

• The signature feature of the series: X-Ray Kill Cam. When the shots are successful and skilful, a slow-motion cinematic camera is activated, uncovering the guts, bones, and muscles being pulverised by the bullet.
• Cinematic Takedowns: Charge up the combo meter to get some health from brutal takedowns in melee.
• Deep Progression: Get XP to level up your character (up to 100) and unlock +24 levels of perks within Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers to play exactly how you want to.
• Special Abilities & Melee: unleash special attacks and recharge powerful elemental attacks, and tackle what we call ‘elite’ zombies that have flamethrowers and chainsaws.
• More Horde Mode: Battle against waves of more and more challenging zombies.
