This time around, you’ll have the opportunity to see it in HD graphics on the Nintendo Switch. The game includes all of the major graphics enhancements, story changes, and gameplay. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door was impressive as it seamlessly combined traditional RPG mechanics with Mario’s platforming and action play with its unique papercraft art style.

• Better Hint System: It now uses a new system to let players know where to go next, so they have improved tracking of objectives.
• Combat Tips & Fast Travel: The “Battle Master” Toad is added to give combat tips, and a “pipe room” beneath Rogueport will allow one to travel to areas completed more quickly.
• Art & Sound Galleries: The players can unlock and enjoy concept art, sketches, and listen to music from the game.
• New Content: The new secret bosses and extra rewards for completing journals.
• Gameplay Mechanics: Maintains turn based combat, audience interaction and “curse” abilities like turning Mario into a plane, boat or tube.
