the Legend of Heroes Trails Through Daybreak II: The past few years have been great for fans of Trails on Switch, as there have been more and more games released in that area. The fidelity of the image and the performance are other things. When the story and gameplay are pretty weak, cracks in the window dressing become all the more apparent, and I hate to say it, but Trails through Daybreak II is the first Legend of Heroes game I’ve played that made me think about not finishing the story after ~12 hours.

In the sequel, Van Arkride assembles the band back up, and familiar characters such as Agnes, Elaine, and Feri from the previous game will join him, with new characters such as Swin and Nadia (who starred in Trails into Reverie) also taking on a major role. It’s difficult not to think their shtick is a little more in comparison to the cast that we already have from the first Daybreak, and I definitely missed out on more time with Van in the early to mid-game.

The Legend of Heroes Trails Through Daybreak II NSP Key Features:

• Field Battles & Quick Arts: Seamlessly shift between real-time action and command-based combat. Arts may be cast during the overworld to rapidly attack a mass of enemies.
• Cross Charge: Perfect dodging in real-time now causes a Cross Charge – switching in another party member for a guaranteed stun. In turn-based combat, connected characters can unleash strong EX Chains on stunned opponents.
• Combat Orbment (Xipha): This orbment has been expanded and will return with more drives, arts, quartz, and holocores for deeper customisation.
• The Alignment System: You can align with a faction, Law, Gray, or Chaos, and unlock special events, dialogue, and alliances with other factions.
• Mini-Games & Side Content: Adds back in activities such as fishing, hacking mini-games, stealth missions, and other fun activities to break up the main campaign.
