Mega Man 11. Its predecessor came out in 2010, so it’s been quite some time since a new game tried to carry on the jump-and-shoot tradition. The reactions to the first glimpse of Mega Man 11 were mixed, as you could hear, “What happened to the classic 8-bit aesthetic?”Newcomer, Casual, Normal, Superhero. The easiest is Newcomer, in which you’ll have no life limit, regular checkpoints, and your bird companion Beat will pick you up when you fall into a pit.

The hallmark of the series’ success, the tight action-platformer action is fully present. What’s going to save the day? The Blue Bomber has to unlock the powerful weapons he can use in the fight and fight off the Robot Masters, changing the appearance of the hero with greater detail. The series’ iconic colorfulness is now brought to a new level of intensity with a new vibrant visual style that uses hand-drawn environments and detailed 3D character models.

• Streamlined Controls & UI: Managing your arsenal is easier than ever with the ability to map special weapons and Rush (your robot hound) directly to dedicated controller buttons or quickly hot-swap them using the analog stick.
• Unique Robot Masters: Stow eight unique powers from eight evil bosses, including Block Man, Acid Man, and Torch Man, and use them to gain a power advantage in other levels against the elements.
• Four Difficulty Modes: newcomer, casual, normal, and super. Adjustments according to your level of skill, such as changing checkpoints, damage, and enemy behavior.
• Dr. Light’s Item Shop: Buy helpful items, extra lives, and combat enhancements from scattered items around the stages.
• Extra Modes & Challenges: What is not yet enough is added with the Extra Modes & Challenges, with its leaderboards, Time Trials, Score Attack, and special Missions.
