Description:

Super Mario 3D All-Stars. This is the first time that Nintendo has compiled a collection of 3D Mario games. Its name is based on the naming of its SNES predecessor Super Mario All-Stars, but it doesn’t have the obvious facelift that the SNES collection had. That doesn’t mean it lacks any enhancements though – one of which is now portability – for two of these games for the first time.

Even though the camera controls on the x-axis were inverted a later patch would allow it to be switched, 64 felt that the game looked the best it ever had thanks to the upscaling and described the controls as “still super tight” and “right at home on a Pro Controller or Joy-Con”. He still hopes Nintendo will make “some quality of life improvements” saying, “Players playing for the first time may find it somewhat inaccessible.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars NSP Key Features:

  • Sunshine and Galaxy: have enhanced 1080p graphics in the TV mode (and 720p in Handheld). Super Mario 64 is played at 720p in both modes, and will use the same classic 4:3 aspect ratio.
  • Music Player: A standalone music player featuring more than 170 iconic tracks from all three games, which will play when screen is off.
  • Mario’s first legendary: 3D adventure of all time is here! This version includes Rumble Pak support and is optimized for resolution for this version as opposed to the original N64 version.
  • The tropical Game: Cube classic is played in ‘widescreen’ mode in Super Mario Sunshine, where the water-spouting F.L.U.D.D. is used to tidy up Isle Delfino in excellent HD!
  • Super Mario Galaxy: The space-themed adventure has been updated for the new gravity-defying feature; a new mode of the original Wii pointer has been added to the Joy-Con controller. It also fully supports cooperative 2-player mode.

Installation Instructions

There is no difference between NSP and XCI formats — both run exactly the same on any Nintendo Switch emulator. Your downloaded Super Mario 3D All-Stars file is in NSP format.
To play on an emulator, open your emulator, go to File → Load File (or drag and drop), and select the downloaded NSP file.
Ensure your emulator has at least Firmware 10.1.0 installed before launching Super Mario 3D All-Stars.
On a hacked Nintendo Switch, install the file using Tinfoil (highly recommended) or DBI Installer.
The direct download link may occasionally be slow or unavailable due to high traffic. If it fails, please wait a moment and try again.
