METAL SLUG back on the scene! Roller coaster your way through this action packed tactical RPG that’s gone roguelite with a blast of iconic original series run ‘n’ gun action. Grab your weapons, assemble your squad and conquer the battlefield to defeat the infamous Rebel Army. As in all of Metal Slug’s games, the story of Metal Slug Tactics is quite simple.

The terrorists are out there and there’s a global menace at large, and only the very special heroes you’ll remember from the Metal Slug games are capable of defeating the enemy: soldiers, tanks and zombies. When speaking with the commander you will receive a bit more information on how the villains are impacting every area as you enter, but for the most part, it’s too action packed for a plot to be a big concern during tactics style battles.

Metal Slug Tactics NSP Key Features:

• The ‘Run and Gun’ movement: Immovable object meets moving object. The longer you move your characters, the more Adrenaline will be generated, which will be used for special abilities and will provide defensive buffs such as Dodge and Damage Resistance.
• Roguelite Campaign Structure: Campaigns are split into semi-randomized zones and biomes. Each mission you can earn XP, currency, and weapon mods to enhance your loadouts, and after your mission fails, you’ll have to restart, but you’ll be able to keep some of your meta-progression mods.
• Emblematic Roster & Moddable Loadouts: Select from 9 iconic characters (Marco, Eri, Fio, Tarma etc.).
• Each character comes with specific base attributes and 4 loadouts, which modulate the initial active skills.
• Super Attacks & Weaponry: Use 9 classic weapons with unique utility, including heavy machine guns, shotguns and flamethrowers. Improving super meters is also possible to do, and so is calling in reinforcements such as the legendary Metal Slug tank which gives you plenty of firepower to take down.
