Description:

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 is a tough act to follow, but Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 doesn’t even come close. It has X5 to X8; the quality varies from good down to awful. The port is at least well done, though not all of the games are. The port itself may not be all that great, though that’s not to say Capcom’s love for it wasn’t.

Mega Man is characterized by being an action game and platformer in which shooting is the key, with a succession of enemies that have to be overcome and a series of traps to avoid until the arrival of the final boss at the end of the phase. The interesting thing about this saga is that you can play in any level in any order, and that upon defeating the bosses of each level, Mega Man will gain their powers.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 NSP Key Features:

• Challenge Mode: Two brand-new modes in which you take on two deadly Mavericks (bosses) simultaneously. When fighting these brutal 2v1 matches, you’ll need to select the three most apt special weapon loadouts.
• Rookie Hunter Mode: A mode that halves the damage taken, for beginners. Later titles also prevent instant death from bottomless pits and spikes.
• Visual Filters: Set up your screen in various screen sizes, have smooth graphic filters, or a true CRT TV filter.
• Save States/Password Saves: The first three 16-bit SNES games (which had a password system) now offer the ability to save gameplay.
• Music Player: Play a huge remixed and remastered soundtrack from all of the series and loop the music for extended playtime.
