Abyss of the Sacrifice is nearing something special, but its small annoyances in presentation, puzzle consistency and design, and localisation will make it difficult for many to want to play this. As the players advance, they’ll not only get to solve some complex puzzles, but they’ll also see the relationships between the girls change throughout the game, giving the plot more depth.

Abyss of the Sacrifice is a fun Nintendo Switch puzzle game. It is set in the wake of the fall of a city, deep underground, and tells the tale of five young girls who must deal with the challenges, emotions, and dark secrets of a world that is still coming to terms with the collapse.

• Narrative-Driven Gameplay: Enjoy a suspenseful, dark story of survival, betrayal and memory loss as the last survivors try to find a way out.
• Game Modes: Play through the game in a variety of different modes and stages. The sequence of these stages change the story and its characters’ fates, and which of the multiple endings you unlock.
• Escape Room Mechanics: Investigate static 2D environments, search for clues, look for items and use items to solve logic puzzles.
• New features: There’s a handy hint system for tricky puzzles and a “skip” option that lets you go through text and skip over solved puzzles during replays for a different ending to the game, and a helpful “skip” option for re-playing the game to find the different endings.
• Gallery Mode: Relive and unlock event images and out-of-game images at any time.
