Description:

In his quirky journey on the Nintendo Switch™ system, the Captain Toad Treasure Tracker stars! Our short little guy has to navigate through lots of traps to find loot in each of the many courses. Watch for steam engines, forests, haunted homes, and even new courses inspired by the Super Mario Odyssey™ game and survive the hazards! Fortunately, there is a second player who can join in by throwing turnips at enemies.

In TV mode or Tabletop mode, enjoy the freedom to play anytime, anywhere, and anyway you want—even with the power on to play in 2-player mode with a pair of Joy-Con™ controllers on one Nintendo Switch system. Handheld mode is also available to play by yourself! Whatever you do, you’ll hunt for treasure along each of the puzzling courses, such as hidden Super Gems and Power Stars. As you recover the treasure that was stolen by the ravenous and greedy bird, you will be able to play as Toadette as time goes on.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker NSP Key Features:

• No-Jump Mechanics: Captain Toad (and his companion, Toadette) is incapable of jumping. You will need to use the “smart” positioning of the camera, turn the camera a little to uncover the other paths, and use items to advance.
• Diorama Puzzle Levels: Stages is a series of ‘puzzle boxes’ which can be rotated from various angles to uncover the hidden Super Gems, Gold Mushrooms, and paths.
• Action & Combat: Toad can grab turnips to sting enemies in the head without jumping, break through walls with the Super Pickaxe, or double himself up with Double Cherries.
• Two-Player Co-op: A second player can join the action. Player 2 can help by directing a pointer towards enemies and throwing the turnips to make them freeze in place while Player 1 is controlling Toad.
• Minecart Levels: Action-packed stages in which players will be dropped into a first-person view and will have to throw items at targets to complete the level.
