Description:

Cave of Illusions takes players on a journey back to Looninville as Lesley Jacobson, a private investigator of the paranormal, searches for the truth about the disappearance of her childhood friend Addie Baker. But when Addie is no longer the sole victim, the old case she’s lived with for two and a half decades resurfaces.

The atmosphere of the Cave of Illusions is also haunting and oppressive, and it’s done with exquisite detail. It’s dimly lit, distant sounds reverberate, and strange whispers can sometimes be heard. The world is constantly evolving, defying the player’s expectations, making him never feel safe. Fragments of past Lesley memories keep flashing past each other in a thicket of mystery.

• Bewildering Environments: Also has weird environments, audio cues and themes.
• Board Game Mechanics: This is a continuation of Twistyland, in which players play a board game in which they are moving through levels using dice and special cards.
  Puzzle Solving: The players have to be able to make their way through creative rooms (Love Tunnel, Titter Toy Store) and solve brainteasers to progress.
• The plot revolves around a young girl, Sophie, and her horrifying experiences with a mystery clown, Vasilus.
• Accessibility: It can be played on platforms such as Steam and Nintendo Switch, and offers several play modes (TV, Tabletop, and Handheld on the Switch).
