Looking at how well Snipperclips Plus Cut It Out Together sold on the eShop, Nintendo decided to ‘go retail’ and launch Snipperclips Plus: Cut it out, together!; in reality, the only real addition is a relatively priced DLC add-on for those who have already purchased the game. As we’ve already reviewed the original release we’re going to summarise the basics and then focus on what the ‘Plus’ content provides.

They’re still cute, and they can be quite mischievous, too, with Snip and Clip. The characters bring a devil in a nice package: hilarious facial expressions and animations add to the stationery aesthetic. Using some simple but ingenious ways of manoeuvring these characters, you snip, crouch and go on tiptoes to fill in gaps, make new tools and much more.

• Core Gameplay: Overlap your paper pals and cut out parts of each other to create a custom shape (such as a needle, a hook, or a bird) to get past obstacles.
• Expanded Content (Plus Pack):The Expanded Content (Plus Pack) adds more than 40 new stages, including all new “Comic Book” and “Toy Box” worlds, to the original game.
• New Replay Modes: Play classic levels with random starting body shapes, and force you to rethink the way you approach the puzzle.
• World Mode:Team up with another player in a 2-player local co-op or play solo with World Mode by swapping between Snip and Clip in no time.
• Party Mode: Solve increasingly challenging and difficult problems together with 2 to 4 other players.
