Description:

Detective from the Crypt is its art and an artfully illustrated game it is. While only having the single estate to work with, a lot of variety is crammed into its confines. The manor has been cleverly decorated with wallpaper and lighting to give each room its own distinctively appointed room within each family. It is a vintage lab with its phonograph, microscope, and test tubes and has a pretty well-equipped kitchen and wine cellar.

After Jane has to find a way to rouse the feline’s spirit, then Pulkheria can travel with Jane the rest of the way. The cat is able to talk, but she doesn’t have any narrative conversations with Jane. Instead, she only serves the purpose of a hint system, and dubiously so at that.

Detective From The Crypt NSP Key Features:

• Supernatural Point-and-Click Gameplay: Explore the haunted house, hand-painted, atmospheric environments, pick up some clues, manipulate objects, and solve inventory puzzles to make your way through the dark estate.
• Ghostly Feline Companion: Your main character for the investigation is a spirit cat who accompanies Jane and provides you with clues (and some sometimes very obscure ones) as you make your way around the cemetery and mansion.
• Speak directly with the deceased: Meet with the different deceased residents of the tombs, crypts, and old mansion including some unusual ones, such as Egyptian mummies.
• Laboratory Investigations: Take a hidden, in-game lab scenario and explore the evidence (e.g. under a microscope through the hairs and the letters) and develop a stronger case.
• Journal & Evidence Tracking:Track a detailed journal of your goals, suspect interactions and notes of evidence to help identify the Darkday family’s dark secrets.
