Goodbye World is an adventure indie game in which two friends make indie games together. The player should play through the game, completing 12 stages, or chapters in the story that the protagonists are writing.The story of Goodbye World is about two friends, programmer Kanii and graphics artist Kumade, who are creating a new game.

They’ve been playing games together for some time now, but their games haven’t been successful, and they’re hoping to finally make a game that will reach the results they haven’t gotten yet.Goodbye World offers a unique narrative experience which is sure to be interesting to players of their type of game.

• Two-Character Narrative: Kanii is a programmer trying to balance out his part-time gig with his hopes of making a successful video game with his graphic artist partner, Kumade, and her journey should be compelling enough on its own.
• Experience a retro styled: gameboy style Game with 12 levels of a fictional game called Playable Meta-Game (“Blocks”) You play a character that can destroy and put down blocks to solve puzzles and evade enemies.
• Story-Driven Progression: The story is presented in 13 different vignettes. If you beat or fail in the “Blocks” meta-game, the next sequence of the main story begins.
• Optional Gameplay: If all of the action is about the plot, the meta-game can be skipped – the “Blocks” gameplay is optional.
• Nostalgic Aesthetics: Adopt a charming and vintage pixel-art aesthetic which perfectly captures the aesthetic of classic 8-bit handheld gaming systems.
