Mario and Donkey Kong were featured in the original Donkey Kong arcade game, which was released during the 80s for the Nintendo DS console. This game was a tremendous hit for Nintendo because it launched two icons for the gaming industry. Mario, a petite and agile plumber, was like a hyperactive ape. Mario vs. Donkey Kong has finally been officially born and bred on Nintendo Switch, after over 20 years. It has the same basic game mechanics, but features improved graphics and sound, along with numerous new challenges and 3 new game modes. It’s the same story as in the original: Donkey Kong is a naughty fellow, and he takes the Mini Marios hostage again. Losing his assistants, Mario can’t continue his plumbing work. He will help his friends with all Donkey’s problems.

Mario vs. Donkey NSP key features:

• Classic Style: A classic Game Boy Advance experience. Time is limited, and each time you lose a hit, you lose a life.
• Casual Style: This one also allows for unlimited time and includes checkpoint flags, and provides Mario with several “hit bubbles” to take before death, making it ideal for casual play.
• Extra & Expert Levels: All worlds and 16 very difficult ones, called Extra and Expert, are unlocked upon victory in the main game for those with a more expert taste.
• Time Attack: An unlockable post-game challenge to fast and effective action against time.
• A second player may be a Local Co-Op, which can join in the action as Toad. This mode offers additional two-player challenges, like picking up two keys in a level.
