This was the game that had to be played if you were a SOLDIER member to understand the story of SOLDIER member Zack Fair. No one would have predicted that we would get a Final Fantasy VII Remake. Still, if those who were new to the series wanted to know what all these characters were, then they’ll need to be able to play Crisis Core.

Zack Fair will play the lead role of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. He is perhaps familiar to some who have played FF VII, but is only in the background of the story. He is a far more important part of Cloud’s motivations, and even affects the motivations of the Turks, as well as having connections to some of Shinra’s upper echelon, including Sephiroth. To put it lightly, Zack is one of the most remarkable characters from the series that you may not have known about.

• Visual & Audio Overhaul: The game will be given an HD graphical overhaul with new 3D models and backgrounds. It is an adaptation of the original film with full voice-acting in both English and Japanese, and new remixed backgrounds music by original composer Takeharu Ishimoto.
• Modernized Combat System: The action-RPG combat has been improved by incorporating real-time action and command based abilities, adding a whole lot of new stuff to the original PSP combat mechanics with smoother camera movements, ability swapping on the fly and item buttons for basic attacks and items.
• Materia System: Customise playstyles with Materia equipping and mixing. By using the Materia Fusion system, you can merge different materia to create powerful magic and enhanced stat bonuses.
• Digital Mind Wave (DMW): This is a unique mechanic of the slot machine that is applied to all battles in the background. Certain number and/or character combinations bring you short-term combat buffs, potent limit breaks, and even major Summon attacks!
• There are more than 300 optional: side missions designed for fast-paced missions, and a robust Mission System that goes beyond the core story. Missions are essential to gaining ultimate equipment, summons and leveling up.
