Description:

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was a mammoth game with extensive storytelling and RPG mechanics, so LucasArts felt it was essential to make a sequel to the title as soon as possible. Seemingly at the same time that Majora’s Mask was released shortly after Ocarina of Time transformed the game, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II was let loose as soon as developer Obsidian Entertainment could make it, and it was released just under a year and a half after its predecessor.

Overall, KOTOR II is a rushed, standalone game that, in some ways, isn’t as polished as its predecessor, but that’s not to say it doesn’t do a wonderful job of sustaining the quality and standards set by the previous games in storytelling and gameplay. But before we get too deep into the weeds, we feel it’s wise to note that it’s the same game KOTOR II was meant to be, before the deadline forced them to cut content.

• Deep Narrative & Morality: An experience of a deeper, more complex story where there is more than just a right and a wrong. Your decisions will affect your character, your tea,m and the worlds that you explore.
• Jedi Classes & Prestige Classes: Select from three Jedi Classes to get started (Guardian, Sentinel, or Consular). In the future, unlock additional “Prestige Classes” to focus on great destruction in lightsaber combat or overwhelming Force powers.
• Influence System: Lead an entourage of special allies that have their own morals and histories. Your actions and dialogue determine how influential you are to them and whether they will become loyal or may turn against you or train you.
• Action-Strategy Combat: Play in tactical, real-time (with pause) combat. Enjoy a more streamlined combat system, where you can switch between a broad range of weapon configurations in a single second.
• Strong Customization: Give characters profound attributes and skills such as Computer Use, Stealth, Persuasion, and Demolitions. Design different pieces of armor and weapons.
